Yah the other day i saw your away message that said you were out with sylvie and i was happy you 2 got to see each other : )

I just got your voice message and message from addie and i'll give you a call tonight for sure. Sorry to make you worry about me.

I'll fill you in on Cornell stuff then ... not really any news yet anyway.

Hope you're happy. Awesome job with FALCON. You should be very proud of yourself. I've downloaded and started to watch some Kenshin. At like the 4th ep now.

  hey cat

i can't believe i forgot to tell you that i cut my hair. i had it cut like 2 days after i got home and still have the ponytail that i have to send to Locks of Love. Weee it's so thick that i like playing with it. Just have been a bum and havne't sent it yet. my hairs slightly above my shoulders and slightly layered in the front. it's so thick but if i brush it right and take care of it right then i don't get anything that resembles triangle hair. i like it a lot. showers take half the time.

no getting sick and no having sick family. you should order them all to get better.

i made lot of sushi last night . my brother taught me from when he used to make it for the organic grocery store he used to run. mmmm sushi.

I love cat. and i need to go nap in the sun. inside.
the windchill is -22 here. ow.

  hey cat,

well i just got back from 3 days up at the cabin in Northern MN. It was awesome. I've never really enjoyed winter that much. And by winter i mean snowing and below 10 all the time. When we got there Tristan made me go check out the ice immediately - at about 8 at night - and so i was out there hobbling on the ice trying to see in the dark where to step. Tristan was wicked scared but turns out the next day we could see that we were standing on 18ish inches of ice. and there was an icehouse set up right off the shore in front of the cabin and tristan pressured me into asking the guys inside about icefishing because he really wanted to icefish. Turns out they used to be professional competitive walleye (type of fish) fishermen. and they whipped out their ice auger and drilled us some holes. It was downright impressive. so will and david and i hiked it out to the bait store and bought some shiners and i commenced to spending what would be a total of 8 hours that day staring at a bobber in the water wating for some walleye. and i caught nothing. neither did david or tristan and everyone else just thought we were crazy. we were fishing like 100 ft off shore and we must have been doing something wrong because those fishermen had caught a 27" walleye earlier that day. i had a lot of fun doin it though. very strange.

and when you stand on the ice you can hear this awesome noise. it's like a cross between thunder and a blue whale. and it's the sound of ice forming and it's this amazing bass sound. i'd never been on such ice before and so i'd never heard that before.

and we did lots of iceskating of course. the ice was smooth as glass.

my family rules. in our non outside time we did things like sing alongs or gingerbread house decorating. I love it.

Sierra is the cutest thing ever now. i could spend all my time with her if i could. i wish they stayed that age forever. maybe then i'd consider having kids. she's 9 months now and is sharp as a tack.

and i went to this AWESOME petstore the other day. i don't know if i should call it awesome or terrible. see it was like a non corporation petstore - not a petco or petdepot type place - so privately run and it was pretty amateur looking like the petstore in Ithaca cept maybe 4 times that size. but they had all sorts of strange things i feel like they shouldn't have. like a caiman. you know - one of those 4ft alligators that live in the muddy rivers of soth america? yah they had one and it was sittin right there in a tank way too small for it. they also had things like moray eels and lungfish and those eels are like 4 ft long!! and they were selling 2 burmese pythons - one which was 8 ft long. oi! and i held the ball python and as always she was very sweet. they had blood pythons and carpet pythons and columbian boas and more fish than i'd ever seen. they were even selling jerboa for 130 a pop. i didn't know what to think of the place. if they'd had more room i would have felt better about their keeping those sorts of animals. sheesh.

anyway i need to get to bed. make the anxiety stop?

yay good to hear from you

you have no idea how jealous i am of your ipod. i've wanted one for years ... grrr

but you're cute so you deserve it.

i'm wicked sick. and i've been sick for like 3 days now and ug. it's very intense but it seems to be going quickly. I wish i could lay in bed and think about anything i wanted but all it does is makc me wicked anxious and unhappy so i just try to stay up till i fall over now.

i'm going to get going now and try to go to bed again. i love you a lot.

I'll write again tomorrow. you're cute.

  Well I made it to MN and things are SO busy and i'm about to fall over i'm so tired but that's ok. Three kids trying to play with you all the time is intense. i hope that Utah is good and that you're NOT sick and NOT broken and that there's lots of snow. I just wanted to post to say i was here and alive but i really need to sleep now so i'll try to write more tomorrow night witch is Xmas eve and weeeeee i get so more excited about christmas when i'm here and around kids that are the same way. WEEEEE. I love cat and i miss her and i hope you're sleepin now.
